As part of GALLERY FRANCE, where you can find high quality quintessentially French photos, we are proud to have with us the art of Sydney Chandler, long-time resident of Ashland, Oregon, a just-retired nurse with a passion for photography.

She *just happened* to be taking a long winter’s journey into Normandy last season, and came away with some spectacular photos of France that we are honored to showcase here within the pages of LightofFrance.

This shot of the Baie of Mont-St-Michel captures not only the muted pastels of the sea, on a very cold winter’s day.

You’ll find Syd’s Gallery as part of GALLERY FRANCE, soon to be unveiled within our site. All the photos you’ll see are of course thumbnails;  a fraction of the actual resolution and light of a finished print …

Stay tuned!

Her work includes Fougeres in Brittany, to Mont St Michel, to Bayeaux and the Normandy Beaches – and as far south as Bordeaux. If you’ve visited any of these regions, or if you’ve visited France, you have the option to bring a piece of it home from GALLERY FRANCE.
