My Vide Grenier @ Etsy, holds a few new treasures …
These two antique cognac and brandy cruchons or jugs, were found together out of the same home here in France.
Same vintage, TURN OF LAST CENTURY, the crockery jugs themselves fabricated at PONT DES VERNES (stamped on the bottom)
for the purposes of la distillerie SIMON-AÎNÉ in the making of fine liqueurs!
The more ornate one was for cognac, the simpler one for apricot brandy.
They are both in perfect condition, and have just come to the new light of day after emptying the attic!
