It’s ON!

The 11/11 South of France Tour, stretching from the Ariège to the Côte d’Azur, is on the books for September 2022.

These dates allow the covid dust to settle, and give you space to organize and make plans — with joy and certainty.

You’ll find the complete itinerary available here.

Slow travel, cut-above accommodations, casual elegance, gastronomique dining …

We meet up in Toulouse and journey into the Ariège visiting ancient villages, Cathar holdouts, weekly markets and the glory of food and wine.

We then head east into Avignon and Arles. (You may well associate Arles with Van Gogh — but if you dive a little deeper into why he might have gravitated here, you’ll find why we go too.)

Shall I mention the ancient Roman amphitheatre just across the street from our hotel? Or, when we head further east, we arrive in St Maximin Ste Baume for more; trek up the Great Massif (very civilized walk) to the Grotto of Mary Magdalene. Common knowledge dictates: she lived the last 30 years of her life here.

Tour is a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6).
